Livestock and Feed General Manager

Keith Snape

Keith has over 30 years experience working in the agricultural industry for some of its biggest names. His career encompasses building a successful business with his own dairy farm before moving on to work for the likes of KW Alternative Feeds, Countrywide Farmers, and ForFarmers.

I began my career working on the family dairy farm, building and growing the business into one of the best performing operations in the country. Utilising the hands on experience I gained, I then moved into various business roles with the likes of KW Alternative Feeds, Countrywide Farmers, and latterly as Senior Commodities Trader for ForFarmers.

I am based at AF’s new Midlands office, helping improve AF's livestock feed service as well as increasing the reach of AF across the country.

Livestock Business Manager

Maureen O'Brien Key

A dairy farmer’s daughter, I am R-SQP qualified to advise and prescribe for farm, equine and companion animals. As well as a BSc (Hons) degree in Animal Science from Harper Adams University, I also hold qualifications in CIPS – Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. I joined AF over 9 years ago and was a livestock buyer for a number of years prior to managing AF First Milk. I recently returned to the position of Livestock Business Manager after a period away on maternity leave. My day-to-day duties involve working with suppliers to review terms and service levels, as well as looking at new initiatives to supply products and services to members.
Feed Business Manager

Thomas Baines-Sizeland

Before joining AF, I worked for a number of livestock enterprises in Bedfordshire and graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science. As well as being being R-SQP qualified, I am now studying for an MSc in Livestock Health and Production with the Royal Veterinary College. As Feed Business Manager, I work closely with suppliers and help manage AF’s raw material books. Developing and nurturing relationships is a key element of my role and I work with the membership team to understand and deliver solutions for supply chain producers including Waitrose, Tesco and Morrisons.
